Qualification Requirements
Four-year undergraduate degree from an accredited university
Before applying or accepting an offer of admission to the School of CSD prospective students should be aware of the following
The Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology programs are twoyear 6 term fulltime inperson programs
Students must obtain and complete all mandatory immunizations vaccinations medical and nonmedical requirements specified by Western University the School of CSD and other clinical facilities
Students must obtain pay for and submit documentation of a police Vulnerable Sector Screening VSS as required by clinical placement facilities
Students are encouraged to have a strong foundation in math anatomy and physiology and science prior to applying to the Audiology and SpeechLanguage Pathology programs
Students must attend and pay for all costs associated with the clinical placements assigned to them Placements may not be in a students hometown andor home province
The Test of English as a Foreign Language TOEFL Minimum acceptable score is 105 for the internet version or 260 for the standard electronic version Westerns TOEFL ID is 0984
The International English Language Testing Service IELTS Academic Minimum acceptable score is 8 out of 9 with no individual score falling below 6
