Students in turf management programs attend both provincial and national conferences, building important connections with professionals and alumni that aid their career growth well beyond graduation. On campus, they actively contribute to maintaining the sports turf field lab, which features golf greens, tees, fairways, residential lawns, and park-style grass areas.
Alumni oversee golf courses across the province, while others excel in municipal parks departments, maintaining sports fields. Beyond turf care, the curriculum covers arboriculture, and many graduates have thriving careers as tree care specialists.
