The Advanced 3D Animation and 3D Modeling program is an intensive two-year, full-time cohort experience centered on core principles of 3D animation and modeling. Participants will explore diverse specialization areas including character/creature animation, rigging, digital sculpting, texturing, and surfacing. The curriculum covers essential storytelling techniques through acting and visual composition, along with look development and introductory compositing concepts. Students gain foundational knowledge in pre-production and post-production workflows, critical evaluation methods, realistic project timelines, collaborative teamwork, interpersonal skills, and cross-departmental coordination within post-production pipelines. Instruction includes comprehensive training in industry-standard software, tools, and professional workflows, culminating in the creation of a professional demo reel showcasing animated sequences or still imagery.

3D animation coursework emphasizes fundamental animation principles while incorporating rigging techniques, basic scripting, cloth simulation, body mechanics, and character/object animation.

3D modeling classes teach cutting-edge industry methods for hard surface modeling, digital sculpting, and surface texturing.

Beginning with traditional drawing and sculpting observation, students transition these foundational skills into their 3D creations, environments, and animations. The program integrates look development, shading, and compositing fundamentals to produce refined final compositions.

This program is ideal for students demonstrating artistic aptitude or creative experience, with technical or software proficiency being an additional advantage.
