The Marketing Diploma program blends classroom instruction, real-world case analyses, hands-on marketing practice, and business simulations to immerse you in core marketing principles. Build the foundation for a successful career through comprehensive business training while developing expertise in client management, sales techniques, promotional strategies, market analysis, and marketing leadership.
Gain professional experience during your studies
Enhance your learning by enrolling in the optional Co-operative Education Program, which intersperses academic terms with compensated, full-time positions in your chosen field. You'll generate income while acquiring practical skills, strengthening your professional profile, and securing employment references before completing your degree. Co-op participation requires advance planning of two semesters. Through the Business Internship Program, you'll translate classroom theories into practical business applications. During your unpaid part-time internship, you'll undertake responsibilities and initiatives typical of entry-level management, marketing, business operations, administrative, and sales roles in contemporary organizations.
Early contact with the Career Centre at Douglas College is mandatory for admission to either the internship or Co-op program.
