The Fine Arts Certificate is a standalone program enabling students to progress to the Fine Arts Diploma Program, pursue a BFA Visual Arts Degree, or apply to other art institutions and universities. These credits can also be transferred and utilized to create portfolios for additional KPU programs like Foundations of Design, Graphic Design for Marketing, Interior Design, or Fashion Design.

This certificate program serves as a foundational year, offering interconnected courses focused on the core principles of visual art and communication. Similar to all Fine Arts offerings, it accommodates both full-time and part-time enrollment. The program facilitates a dedicated period for artistic study, experimentation, and the rigorous refinement of creative concepts and technical skills.
