This vibrant academic discipline investigates diverse aspects including perception, memory, cognition, intelligence, social interactions, emotional responses, brain functions, motivation, and developmental stages. Huron's Psychology Program provides four specialized B.A. study modules, prioritizing fundamental research competencies in psychological science. Students develop research expertise beginning in their first year and progressively enhance these skills. Required research courses examine psychological scholarship across key areas (Learning and Motivation, Cognitive Processes, Developmental and Social Psychology), complemented by elective offerings in specialized subjects like Neuropsychology, Personality Theories, Health Psychology, Influence Strategies, Biological Psychology, Early Childhood Development, and Behavioral Change techniques.
