The Global Development Studies program explores how systemic inequalities shape our world, with a special emphasis on poverty. These courses investigate how significant economic disparities lead to power differentials and the emergence of dominant social, political, and economic frameworks often labeled as "development." Through critical analysis and ethical community-based research, students in these courses develop skills to partner with grassroots movements addressing these inequities and advocating for transformative change.
