Advance your primary care paramedic knowledge and get ready to take on broader responsibilities as a first responder. This program teaches essential operational procedures and emergency decision-making techniques while strengthening your communication, teamwork, and leadership abilities.
Through clinical rotations and ambulance practicums across Atlantic Canada (P.E.I., N.B., N.S., or N.L.), you'll gain hands-on experience. Placement locations aren't guaranteed and may require travel between provinces. Students are responsible for all associated costs, including transportation, accommodations, uniforms, and safety equipment.
The profession demands both physical and mental resilience. The curriculum includes passing the Paramedic Physical Abilities Test (PPAT) and provides resources to maintain psychological health throughout your training.
