The Electromechanical Technology program provides comprehensive training that can open doors to multiple Red Seal trade certifications. Through this program, you can accumulate 30 apprenticeship hours per training week and qualify to take the initial block examinations for both Industrial Electrician and Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal certifications. Holland College is working to secure credit recognition with PEI Apprenticeship for these two Red Seal trades. After completing the program, once employed by an appropriate company and having selected your desired Red Seal path, you'll register as an apprentice to finalize your qualifications for the Red Seal examination. Apprenticeship PEI will recognize any previously earned training hours and passed block exams from your Holland College studies that apply to your chosen trade.
