Combining theoretical learning, laboratory work, and practical projects—like building a power supply with electronic testing tools, fabrication devices, and soldering techniques—you'll master the basics of electrical and electronic components, along with industrial circuits and devices. A work practicum allows you to implement your knowledge while enhancing your expertise through real-world experience, and participation in MITT’s Work Skills Series workshops equips you with essential employability skills valued by employers.
Manitoba high school diploma (or expected completion within 45 days of the program start date), or equivalent, including:
Grade 12 Math (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
Grade 12 English Language Arts (40S) with a grade of 50 per cent or higher, or equivalent.
