This curriculum fulfills the academic requirements for the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities' cook apprenticeship program. Alumni can pursue diverse opportunities in hospitality establishments including hotels and resorts; various dining venues from upscale eateries to quick-service restaurants; exclusive clubs, event catering services, and institutional food operations - all with potential employment spanning local, regional, national, and international markets.
Applicants must hold OSSD or equivalent with Grade 12 English (C or U).
Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (19 years or older), and home school applicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicants who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing.
