Over five semesters in the Practical Nursing program, you'll gain knowledge of healthcare principles and nursing techniques. Upon completing this diploma, students qualify to take the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) national exams for registration as a Registered Practical Nurse in Ontario. Qualification Requirements
Students applying to Practical Nursing must meet the following requirements:
OSSD including Gr 12 C English, Gr 12 C Math and two different Gr 11 or 12 C Science subjects (i.e. Chemistry, Biology, Physics)*.
Minimum final grade of 65% in each required course.
OSSD with majority of courses at College (C ) or Open (O) unless otherwise stated.
Grade 12 C courses will be accepted where Gr 11 C course requirements are listed.
Where College level courses are listed, U and M courses will be accepted.
IELTS - 6.0 with no band less than 5.5
TOEFL IBT - 80 with no score less than 20
TOEFL PBT - 550
