Jumpstart your nursing career with the BNSc Accelerated Standing Track. This intensive two-year program, spanning two summer terms, is designed for students who have completed 10 full university courses. Our approach emphasizes that outstanding nursing practice is rooted in a strong foundation of sciences and arts. This professional degree enables graduates to apply for registration with their provincial regulatory body to practice as a "Registered Nurse." The program spans two years with summer terms (fall-winter-summer, fall-winter-summer) and features hands-on training in the School of Nursing Simulation Lab and Glaxo Wellcome Clinical Education Centre. Clinical placements begin in the first year's winter term, covering children’s health, maternity, mental health, and acute/chronic adult care. You'll gain experience across diverse settings, including hospitals, public health, clinics, and community agencies (such as schools, flu clinics, and Alzheimer organizations), caring for patients at all life stages.
