Law Clerks support attorneys by handling various responsibilities including client interviews, legal research, document preparation, registry searches, and trial case preparation. This two-year Law Clerk program delivers comprehensive education and training to equip you for assisting lawyers and paralegals across both private and public sectors. You'll learn from legal professionals with real-world expertise. During your initial three semesters, you'll study alongside students in the Paralegal Program. The curriculum covers essential subjects like Business and Contract Law, Litigation Fundamentals, Legal Research and Writing, Criminal Law, Evidence, Advocacy, Small Claims, Practice Management, and Legal Accounting. Your final semester focuses on advancing your expertise in Property Law, Family Law, Wills and Estates, Corporate Law, and Litigation Law.
