The Electrical Techniques program opens doors to diverse careers in the electrical sector, offering routes into Electrician Apprenticeships or Electrical Engineering Technician education. This curriculum covers the initial stage of Ontario's Electrician Apprenticeship training. With Ontario's construction boom driving demand, this 30-week, two-semester program equips students with core competencies for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and construction environments. The program serves as a springboard to various electrical careers and advanced college programs, including Electrician Apprenticeships and Electrical Engineering Technician training.
Comprehensive in scope, the Electrical Techniques program mirrors the first level of Ontario's Electrician Apprenticeship curriculum, giving graduates strong preparation for apprenticeship opportunities.
