CBU provides an engineering transfer program in partnership with Dalhousie University. Among select Associated Universities, CBU stands out by covering the initial two years across all six engineering fields: civil, environmental, electrical, industrial, mechanical, and chemical engineering. Students begin their four-year Bachelor of Engineering journey at CBU before transitioning to Dalhousie for the final two years. The program's first year serves as a foundation for all specializations, with students selecting their focus area afterward. Applications for both institutions must be submitted when choosing a discipline.

In the second year, students maintain enrollment at both CBU and Dalhousie. The concluding years (three and four) occur exclusively at Dalhousie.

An alternative pathway allows students to pair a BSc in chemistry or mathematics with an Engineering Diploma. This option involves an additional year at CBU to finish the BSc before completing the BEng during two final years at Dalhousie.
