Develop leadership capabilities under experienced instructors with expertise in nutritional science, menu development, culinary operations, and team management. Acquire practical skills through two five-week internships collaborating with nutrition service teams at partner organizations.This distinctive program awards dual qualifications. After the first year, students earn a Culinary Skills certificate, followed by a Nutrition and Food Services Management diploma upon graduation. The program also prepares students for additional foodservice industry certifications.The comprehensive curriculum covers culinary operations, food safety protocols, therapeutic meal planning, financial management, and staff relations. Hands-on learning occurs through two industry placements with professionals.Qualified graduates may continue their education through our pathway to Brescia University College's Nutrition and Dietetics specialization at Western University, a prerequisite for dietetic internships.This CSNM-accredited program enables graduates to obtain professional membership - mandatory for Ontario healthcare foodservice positions.
