The Business Human Resources diploma program focuses on unlocking potential in individuals. First, you'll master core business skills like accounting, marketing, and digital tools. The curriculum covers essential HR topics including workplace relations, pay structures, employee benefits, hiring processes, and staff development. During your final term, on-campus students gain hands-on experience through mentorship in actual HR departments. You'll build valuable relationships by collaborating with peers, instructors, and industry experts. By graduation, you'll have created a comprehensive professional portfolio ready for today's evolving HR landscape.
Completing this program fulfills six of the nine courses needed for the Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) certification. Qualified graduates can continue their studies in the Business Administration - Human Resources Advanced Diploma to complete the remaining CHRP/CHRL requirements (three additional courses).
Students also have the opportunity to progress to the Honours Bachelor of Commerce (Human Resources Management) degree at Fanshawe's Lawrence Kinlin School of Business. This human resources program offers flexible study options, available either on-campus with September and January intakes, or completely online (asynchronous), with full-time or part-time schedules.
Fanshawe's Business – Human Resources graduates are equipped for diverse entry-level HR roles across organizations, including positions in HR administration, labor relations support, compensation coordination, benefits administration, payroll processing, talent acquisition, and training development support.
