Our two-year Youth Justice Diploma program covers essential subjects like substance abuse, mental health, Indigenous perspectives, juvenile crime, and the legal system, equipping you to support youth with trauma-sensitive approaches. You'll gain skills to help young individuals overcome challenges and build resilience.
Hands-on learning experience
The program includes two supervised practicums that frequently result in job offers. You'll complete placements across diverse environments such as educational institutions, residential facilities, community organizations, outreach initiatives, recreational programs, detention centers, local community hubs, and Indigenous service providers.

Qualification Requirements

High school graduation OR 19 years of age by the end of the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College.
Minimum overall grade average of 60% (or equivalent) in the final year of high school.
