The Physiotherapy Technology Program equips you to collaborate with doctors and physiotherapists in assisting patients with injury and illness recovery. As you train to become a healthcare professional, you'll acquire practical clinical abilities for diverse work environments. During your studies at Dawson, you'll practice your skills by treating community members either at our on-campus clinic or partner facilities.
Program alumni frequently work as physiotherapy technologists in hospitals, CLSCs, rehab centers, private practices, and other healthcare institutions. Some graduates opt to further their education at universities in fields like Physiotherapy, Kinesiology, Athletic Therapy, or Physical Education, though additional prerequisite courses may be necessary for these advanced programs.

Following admission to the Physiotherapy Technology Program, all students must submit a health certificate and immunization record in order to complete clinical placements.
To practice as a physiotherapy technologist, graduates of a college program must become members of the Ordre professionnel de la physiothrapie du Qubec. There is no certification exam for graduates to become a member of the Ordre.
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language). The minimum accepted score is 61 for Internet based, 175 for Computer based or 500 for Paper based.
IELTS (International English Language Testing System). The minimum accepted score is 6.0 on the IELTS 9-band scale.
Duolingo - The minimum accepted overall score is 95-100.
