The Master of Planning Studies program provides professional planners with a chance to further their education while engaging in advanced research under faculty guidance at the School of Planning. This program can be finished in one year of full-time study or extended over five years for part-time students. A requirement includes completing at least one winter semester through full-time enrollment at Dalhousie University.

Applicants must have

  • Four-year Bachelor‚Äôs degree
  • Minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (B average) in the last 60 credit hours of study
  • Degree granted by university of recognized standing

  • MELAB: 85
  • IELTS: 7
  • CAEL: 70 with no band score lower than 60
  • Dalhousie College of Continuing Education (CCE): A-
