The department provides graduate programs awarding MSc and PhD degrees across diverse fields including statistical inference, robust statistics, data mining, bioinformatics, data analysis, multivariate analysis, linear and nonlinear regression, time series analysis, statistical genetics, environmental statistics, and information theory.
Students must pass a comprehensive exam within their first year of enrollment. Requirements include completing at least two full-credit courses, attending statistics seminars, and developing and defending a research thesis.
