First-year studies establish fundamentals in biology, chemistry, mathematics, and psychology. Second-year coursework blends basic and medical sciences, featuring subjects like cell biology, organic chemistry, microbiology, and physiology. You'll explore health sociology, examining medical theory and practice, societal approaches to health issues, patient perspectives, and Canada's healthcare system.
During your third and fourth years, you'll concentrate on medical sciences through anatomy, pathology, and pharmacology courses, alongside bioethics studies addressing contemporary healthcare challenges.
