This program prepares students for the safe and effective operation and upkeep of industrial boilers, refrigeration units, prime movers, and supporting equipment utilized in heating, cooling, and power systems. Fourth-class power engineers are qualified to manage and maintain power-generating machinery and systems, which may encompass boilers, steam/gas turbines, generators, engines, pumps, condensers, compressors, and pressure vessels across various industrial settings. The curriculum aligns with the Standardized Power Engineers Examination Committee (SOPECC) guidelines and equips students to take the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) exams necessary for fourth-class power engineering certification.
