Since political ideologies influence our global landscape, you'll develop analytical skills to examine connections between citizens and governing systems. This program prepares graduates for diverse career paths including scholarly research, government service, corporate sectors, and nonprofit organizations. Students benefit from collaborative research hubs like the Center for Immigration Policy Evaluation, engAGE initiative, Montreal's Latin American Studies Network (RLAM), and the Interuniversity Research Group in Political Philosophy of Montreal. Current student research explores areas such as global security dynamics, political philosophy's evolution, and developing market economies.
