Language serves as humanity's fundamental channel for cultural transmission and creative expression. Our Spanish programs provide pathways to fresh perspectives by examining language, cultural traditions, and literary works. You'll immerse yourself in the linguistic world of Cervantes, Lorca, García Márquez, and Almodóvar while mastering one of the globe's most prevalent languages.
Beginning with core competencies—oral communication, auditory comprehension, reading, and writing—our curriculum incorporates modern teaching methodologies for Spanish studies, introducing learners to diverse elements including linguistics, translation practices, cultural studies, and literary analysis. Through Concordia International's partnership with the Department of Classics, Modern Languages and Linguistics (CMLL), students can participate in the Concordia in Spain Summer Program, featuring intensive language and cultural studies at Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca while completing 12 academic credits.
Concordia International works alongside multiple faculties and the School of Graduate Studies to coordinate global exchange programs and internships with partner universities worldwide. These initiatives strengthen cross-cultural connections and advance international learning opportunities.
