The Centre for Arts and Technology offers an intensive 18-month Audio Engineering & Production diploma program that expertly combines core theoretical knowledge with practical application. Our curriculum equips students with the essential skill set for success through immersive, hands-on training in specialized audio labs and recording studios. You'll develop comprehensive expertise across key areas such as:
Core technical competencies in microphone techniques and professional recording
Music theory with emphasis on contemporary song analysis
Mastery of industry-leading software including Pro Tools and Ableton Live
Applied audio production techniques like mixing and mastering
Song composition, arrangement, and track development
Professional development including career strategies and workplace skills
Complete sound system configuration and operation
Audio post-production for visual media featuring ADR, foley, and surround sound
Interactive audio implementation using Wwise for game development
