Drawing upon Carleton's established expertise and its globally-respected climate scholars from diverse academic fields, this distinctive Specialization offers an interdisciplinary approach tailored to growing student interest. Participants will engage with faculty and peers from multiple departments to investigate climate change's systemic effects, studying both its consequences and potential mitigation strategies across ecological systems, human societies, and organizational structures while developing collaborative approaches to tackle this worldwide crisis.

Qualification Requirements

The requirement for admission into the master's program is a B.A. Honours (or the equivalent) with at least high honours standing in anthropology or a closely-related field. Where relevant, previous professional experience will be taken into account in determining an applicant's standing on admission.

IELTS - Overall 6.5 (minimum 6.0 in each band).
TOEFL iBT - 86 (20 in reading and listening, 22 in speaking and writing)
TOEFL PBT - overall score of 580.
