The Bachelor's programs offer comprehensive training in both human and physical geography. Human geography explores how people interact with their surroundings through the lenses of space, place, scale, and process. Physical geography examines Earth's surface features and atmospheric conditions. In Human Geography, we investigate topics like urban disparities, population shifts, eco-friendly transit, resource management, agricultural networks, cultural environments, global progress, international relations, and climate resilience—a field that uniquely bridges economic, political, and cultural transformations. Physical Geography covers Canadian and global ecosystems, meteorological patterns, hydrological systems, vegetation and soil dynamics, geological formations, and Arctic permafrost challenges.
