Human Geography encompasses diverse sub-disciplines united by their focus on humanity's interaction with the world. You'll examine topics ranging from nature-society relationships to how places shape identity and the geographical foundations of economic systems.
This field spans numerous sub-disciplines all centered on understanding human engagement with our planet. It investigates connections between environment and communities, the role of location in personal identity, and the spatial organization of economic activities. Professionals in Human Geography work across various sectors including urban planning, environmental management, economic development, tourism, mapping technologies, and GIS applications.
The curriculum focuses on four key themes: Cultural landscapes, urban globalization, human-environment interactions, and geographical research techniques.
Graduation from a university-preparatory program at a senior secondary school: Higher Secondary School Certificate awarded on completion of Standard XII. Certificates must be official. Photocopies are acceptable if certified by school principal, head, or counsellor. Notarized copies are not acceptable.
