Mechanical engineering technology offers diverse career opportunities across industries like automotive, aerospace, biomedical, and energy sectors. As a mechanical engineering technologist, you'll transform concepts into reality by creating, evaluating, and building mechanical systems - becoming the unseen force that brings innovative mechanical solutions to life across various fields.
Through industry-standard software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks, you'll create both 2D and 3D models, then bring these designs to physical form using cutting-edge additive and subtractive manufacturing methods in our campus facilities. You'll gain hands-on experience through community projects and applied research in labs featuring the latest advanced manufacturing technology. During your third year, you'll deepen your expertise in design principles, quality control, production methods, and project leadership to fully prepare for professional success.
