During your studies, you'll gain practical experience in hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, equipment repair, and electronics. With today's advanced machinery, you'll master both mechanical and electrical systems. The curriculum also covers computer-aided design, welding theory, and mechanical principles. Aligned with Industrial Millwright apprenticeship training, graduates can take exemption tests for this trade (as mandated by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities). Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD), or equivalent, or a mature applicant with the following course:
Grade 11 or 12 Math (C, M or U)

Students who do not meet the admission requirements are recommended for academic upgrading. A conditional offer may be possible with proof of enrolment. Alternatively, applicants may choose to do the one-year Pre-Technology preparatory program that provides all the admission requirements for this program.

It is recommended that students in the Academic and Career Entrance Certificate (ACE) program take a Technical or Apprenticeship Mathematics course within the ACE program.

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) test with a minimum score of 79 for the Internet-based test (iBT), with test results within the last two years
International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Academic test with an overall score of 6.0 with no score less than 5.5 in any of the four bands, with test results within the last two years.
