This four-year Honors program culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree in Oenology and Viticulture, tailored to address the demands of the global and Canadian grape and wine sectors. The curriculum delivers thorough scientific training alongside practical immersion in winemaking and grape cultivation, incorporating elements of marketing, tourism, and wine evaluation. Recognizing that "wine originates in the vineyard and concludes in the glass," our students receive dual training in viticulture and oenology, with opportunities to focus their studies through elective courses and thesis projects. The program covers essential scientific fields relevant to the wine industry, including sensory analysis, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, microbiology, genetics, cellular and molecular biology, plant physiology, and environmental biology. Graduates are well-prepared for advanced studies in any of these areas.
