This four-year Honors program culminates in a Bachelor of Science degree in Oenology and Viticulture, tailored to address the demands of the global grape and wine industry. The curriculum delivers thorough scientific training alongside practical experience in winemaking and grape cultivation, incorporating elements of marketing, tourism, and wine tasting. Recognizing that "wine starts in the vineyard and finishes in the glass," our students receive dual training in viticulture and oenology, with opportunities to focus their studies through elective courses and thesis projects. The program covers essential scientific fields for the wine industry, including sensory analysis, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemistry, microbiology, genetics, cellular and molecular biology, plant physiology, and environmental science. Graduates are well-prepared for advanced studies in these areas.
