This program is designed for individuals pursuing careers in medicine, dentistry, rehabilitation, occupational therapy, and related fields. Our curriculum emphasizes the biophysical principles of human health, offering instruction in anatomy, physiology, chemistry, and biology, alongside the societal dimensions of healthcare. The program features rigorous laboratory-based courses covering clinical epidemiology, human immunology, medical microbiology, parasitology, pharmacology, cardiology, and pathology.
Students gain hands-on experience through the program's partnerships with facilities like the Brock-Niagara Centre for Health and Well-Being.
Participants will engage in coursework and research projects within the cutting-edge Cairns Family Health and Bioscience Research Complex at the University.
