The Consecutive Teacher Education program (Bachelor of Education) is designed for graduates holding a completed degree. After finishing the program, successful candidates typically qualify for recommendation to the Ontario College of Teachers, earning both membership and their Ontario Certificate of Qualification.
This 16-month full-time program runs across two academic years at both Brock University campuses in St. Catharines and Hamilton. While maintaining operations at the Hamilton location through summer 2022, the university is developing upgraded facilities in Burlington. The program currently has no online or part-time study options.
All initial teacher education programs emphasize hands-on experience through Ontario's distinctive Triple-C Model framework. Aspiring educators develop their professional skills under the mentorship of Practicum Advisors, Practicum Instructors, and Associate Teachers across school placements in Niagara, Hamilton, and surrounding regions.
Student must complete University Degree.
