The Studio Concentration in Fine Arts demands at least 48 credits (16 classes) from departmental or related courses, divided into three categories (detailed in course descriptions below): Studio (27 FIS credits), Art History (15 FIH credits), and Comparative Arts (6 FIN credits). Students seeking exemption from any requirement must submit their request with supporting materials to the Department Chair prior to finalizing registration.
Admission Requirements General: Completed secondary school credential that would permit you access to university in that country. If you are studying at or have graduated from secondary school in a country where secondary school finishes after only 11 years of formal schooling, you may not apply directly to Bishop’s University. You will need to complete at least one year of study at a college or university before applying to transfer to Bishop’s.
