These conventional norms face continuous scrutiny through democratic channels including elections, party politics, advocacy campaigns, and social movements, or through more extreme approaches like revolutionary ideologies, extremist groups, or isolated terrorist acts. The discipline methodically analyzes these complex dynamics. International Studies curricula offer students functional knowledge about our interconnected world, preparing them for globally-oriented careers.
