This interdisciplinary program enables students to explore diverse subjects spanning Social Sciences, Natural Sciences, and Business, cultivating varied viewpoints on sports' societal significance.
The Athletic Development Major consists of 48 credits (16 courses), with 27 credits dedicated to core requirements and 21 credits for concentration electives. During their undergraduate studies, sports studies majors must select at least one of three available concentrations to fulfill. While optional, students may pursue two or all three concentrations if desired.
Admission Requirements General: Completed secondary school credential that would permit you access to university in that country. If you are studying at or have graduated from secondary school in a country where secondary school finishes after only 11 years of formal schooling, you may not apply directly to Bishop’s University. You will need to complete at least one year of study at a college or university before applying to transfer to Bishop’s.
