Our program has everything you need. Kinesiology explores human movement through multiple disciplines, with diverse courses led by research-focused professors. Customize your degree by selecting a specialized track—fitness and lifestyle, ergonomics, or coaching science—or mix and match courses for a broader education.
Your class selection will reflect your personal goals. You'll develop comprehensive knowledge across kinesiology subfields like anatomy, physiology, neurophysiology, biomechanics, motor control, and sports psychology. Foundational sciences including biology, physics, psychology, and mathematics will also be part of your studies.
In later years, you can opt for a general kinesiology degree or apply for one of three specialized tracks: ergonomics, fitness and lifestyle, or coaching science. Admission to a track requires completing specific coursework for graduation.
Beyond classroom instruction, you'll learn research methods and may undertake an independent research project. A 25-hour practicum during your final year lets you apply academic knowledge in a real-world professional environment.
