Entering the Information Technology field equips students with the skills needed for diverse career paths, including supporting, installing, designing, or overseeing computer networks and technical systems. In recent years, the tech boom has significantly increased the need for IT experts, creating abundant opportunities for those pursuing careers in this sector across Canada.
Students must have the following academic requirements to be eligible:
Secondary School Diploma or mature student status;
Completion of Grade 11 Math and Grade 12 English or equivalents;
Applicants from non-English speaking countries must achieve the minimum requirements of:
Overseas applications from China, India, Pakistan, Vietnam and the Philippines (SDS): Overall IELTS score of 6.0 with no band less than 6.0 issued in past 24 months
Undergraduate programs: required a minimum score of 78 on the internet-based test, or 213 on the computer-based test;
An overall score of 60 is required for admission to our programs.
A minimum score of 80 is required except for degree
Pearson Test of English (PTE) Language scores of 55 or higher for entrance to diploma and certificate programs;
