Computer science explores the theoretical principles behind information processing and computation, along with practical methods for putting these concepts into practice. Our curriculum includes both standalone courses and complete degree paths, allowing students at any stage to cultivate computing knowledge aligned with their professional goals. Memorial's Computer Science Co-op Program (CICS) enables students to gain valuable industry experience through paid work terms lasting 8-16 months, combining career exploration with practical skill development.
Students can pursue major, minor, or honours degrees leading to either a BA or B.Sc. in Computer Science. We also provide interdisciplinary programs combining:
