The Practical Nursing Ontario College Diploma program equips you for a career in healthcare. You'll master essential skills and methods needed in the field. This covers assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation techniques required to deliver nursing care across all age groups. The curriculum combines theoretical knowledge, laboratory practice, hands-on training, and self-directed learning.
Students develop practical abilities through diverse healthcare environments. A standout feature is the on-campus Simulation Lab, offering lifelike patient care situations. Practical training occurs in community facilities including retirement residences, long-term care facilities, and medical centers.
