The Respiratory Therapy Ontario College Advanced Diploma program equips you for a rewarding career in respiratory therapy. Through cutting-edge equipment, simulation training, and clinical rotations, you'll develop practical skills essential for the workplace.

Master the ability to work proficiently, securely, and efficiently across various healthcare environments. Upon completion, you'll showcase your capacity to collaborate as part of a team in delivering respiratory care to patients.

Engage in clinical lab simulations that bridge theory with real-world application. The program includes over 1,200 hours of clinical placements, potentially requiring temporary relocation to healthcare facilities throughout Ontario. These rotations occur in diverse departments including general wards, emergency rooms, neonatal ICUs, and surgical units. Successful graduates qualify to take the national credentialing exam administered by the National Alliance of Respiratory Therapy Regulatory Bodies, a mandatory requirement for practicing as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Canada.
