The Master of Planning program is structured to provide students with the specialized knowledge and skills needed for leadership positions in urban planning policy and practice.
Situated in Western Sydney University's Parramatta campus, the program offers a unique urban research environment at the heart of Sydney's fastest-growing region.
Duration: 2 years
Applicants must have successfully completed a Bachelor degree in any discipline
Or
Have a minimum of five years full-time equivalent work experience in planning, geography, social science, environmental studies, architecture and landscape studies, urban and regional studies, engineering or public policy.
Applicants seeking admission on the basis of work experience must support their application with a Statement of Service for all work experience listed on the application.
English Language Requirements:
IELTS: 6.5 overall score (min 6.0 in each subtest); TOEFL internet-based score of 82: Writing 21, Speaking 18, Reading 13, Listening 13; Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 58 overall; No communication skills less than 50.
