The Graduate Diploma in Architecture serves as a bridge for students holding undergraduate degrees in non-architecture disciplines. This intensive two-semester, full-time program builds essential skills in design, historical context, construction methods, communication, and sustainable urban development. Successful graduates can progress to the four-semester Master of Architecture (SD-93017), an accredited professional degree, with intakes available in January or May. The program emphasizes a studio-based learning approach, blending hands-on creation with cutting-edge digital tools. Design projects tackle practical challenges while exploring core architectural principles like material selection, landscape integration, and spatial dynamics. Students develop creative, analytical, and spatial design abilities alongside foundational knowledge in architectural history, environmental considerations, and technical disciplines. The curriculum integrates both digital and manual techniques through workshops and studio sessions, covering drafting, physical modeling, and rapid prototyping.
