Upon finishing this unit successfully, students will be able to:
Show advanced knowledge of core principles and contemporary discussions regarding research ethics and integrity;
Understand applicable national guidelines and institutional policies affecting research conduct across different environments;
Recognize critical ethical considerations specific to their research field;
Evaluate and address potential integrity challenges within their research domain; and
Articulate and justify ethical positions relevant to their research work and project design.

Program outcomes
VU's innovative Master of Research Practice enables students to conduct and finalize a supervised research project at master's level (AQF 9). The curriculum includes foundational coursework units addressing a) research process fundamentals and b) relevant disciplinary specialization.
