The Master of Teaching (Primary) program is designed for university graduates with non-teaching backgrounds who aspire to teach in primary education (Kindergarten through Year 6). Upon graduating, you'll receive accredited qualifications enabling you to teach students aged 5-12 across public, faith-based, and independent schools. This program cultivates exceptional educators who appreciate classroom diversity and foster strong school community ties. The curriculum emphasizes practical teaching development, featuring an intensive professional experience component from your first semester, with ongoing placements throughout the program. You'll undertake 60 days of professional placements (PEX), with the option for one placement in regional or remote NSW schools. Additionally, you can participate in global immersion experiences (though these don't count toward PEX requirements), offering international school visits and cross-cultural learning opportunities.
