The Master of Occupational Hygiene offers an immersive professional education focused on workplace health and safety. This program prepares you to identify, assess, and manage risks from physical, chemical, and biological workplace hazards, while effectively communicating these findings to both employers and workers to enhance workplace conditions. Delivered through a flexible format, the program blends online learning with 3-5 days of intensive on-campus workshops designed for hands-on exploration of course material. These campus sessions leverage UOW's comprehensive OH&S laboratory facilities and other university resources.
A recognised 3-year Bachelor degree with a major in a Science or Health-related discipline; or a degree in another relevant area (for example Engineering) which contains at least one year of science-based subjects. Applicants with other relevant qualifications and/or work experience may be considered.
