The Juris Doctor Master of Business Administration program equips students with both theoretical knowledge and practical experience in law and business fields. This Level 9 master's degree under the Australian Qualifications Framework offers a non-traditional route into legal professions for graduates from non-law backgrounds.

Participants engage with industry-relevant, academically challenging, and practice-oriented law courses, equipping them for legal professions or positions requiring legal knowledge in various sectors. The MBA component combines core business studies in areas like accounting, economics, and management with specialized tracks or elective options.

Graduates emerge as competent, flexible professionals prepared for international legal or business settings. The program fulfills the academic prerequisites for legal practice in New South Wales, with UTS also offering the required practical legal training for NSW lawyer certification.

Career opportunities span private practice, government roles, community legal services, regulatory advisory positions, and specialized legal fields connected to students' prior studies, along with advancement possibilities in their current professional domains.
